Service Description
Mat Pilates is based on the original exercises that Joseph Pilates created. As suggested, Mat exercises are largely exercises done on the floor which coordinate between breath and spinal stabilisation, mobilizing the body and positively impacting the brain and cognitive ability. The Thursday class concentrates on core strengthening using a full range of movements and focusing on the principles of Pilates whilst providing a full body workout. This is a mixed level class that challenges your skills; elementary to intermediate level. Single classes are a great way to try out Pilates before committing to regular sessions. Classes are 55 minutes and can be booked online or paid in person by agreement, and subject to availability. Please bring your own mat, and arrive 5 - 10 minutes before the class start time.
